28.5GW Solar inverter system in Poland

Those who concerned about the Russia-Ukraine conflict can find that Poland has been the most persistent in fighting against Russia and is the only EU country planning to stop buying Russian gas entirely from next year.

From January to May in 2022, Poland has achieved about 2.5GW of new photovoltaic installed capacity, with the cumulative photovoltaic installed capacity exceeding 10GW, and is expected to add 4.5GW, with the cumulative installed capacity of more than 12GW.

Over the past five years, solar photovoltaic has become a major driver of renewable energy development in Poland, ranking eighth among the 27 EU countries in 2018, fifth in 2019 and fourth in 2020 and 2021.

According to the "Polish Photovoltaic Market 2022 report" released by the Renewable Energy Research Institute, Poland is expected to achieve 20 gigawatts of installed photovoltaic capacity by 2025 and 28.5 gigawatts by 2030.The report describes the past 10 years as "the golden decade of Polish photovoltaic".

The IEO predicts that photovoltaic has become the highest installed capacity of renewable energy technology in Poland due to the rapid growth in photovoltaic power station capacity, and will remain growing in the coming years.The Polish government has used solar energy as a main driver of renewable energy development in Poland, ensuring Polish energy security and a stable energy supply for end users.
